I was born in Long Island, New York. At the age of five, I moved with my family to Glen Rock, a small rural town of 10,000 in New Jersey. At age eleven we again moved to Toronto Canada where I was raised. I grew up as the son of a talented artist and a home economist. Both of who were forward thinkers.

I have always been encouraged to explore and experience life. This led me on many a trip abroad to Europe and Mexico. I enrolled in the Advertising Design program at the art institute of Fort Lauderdale. Graduated in 1980 with honors and voted most likely to succeed. I moved west to Seattle, and began pursuit of my future in graphic art, where I now live, work, and continue to explore and experience print and web media.

Artist Statement

Along my career path, I cultivated a deep commitment to creative alternatives, and an approach to visual arts that mixes pragmatism with thought and reference. As a professional production artist, I strive to incorporate everything I have experienced in my career, and then build on that. Taking into account current trends, I believe that design should be an editing process. I also hold the belief that one may dawn a clear vision, but in this age of break-neck speed from concept to completion we must often rely on our group methodology. The team and technology.
